When I was very young, I had the impression of being different and as I got older, this impression changed into certainty. I was not like the others and coincidentally, the others were different from me. So where was "the norm"? My cat is different from the neighbour's dog, but doesn't make a big deal out of it. We are as we are and we think as we think and that's good. This " Zafer " painting is my way of showing this difference. Celebrating this difference is not always easy when you are young, but, rest assured, the affirmation of this difference comes with time. Hold tight !
Tout jeune, j’avais l’impression d’être différent et en prenant de l’âge, cette impression s’est changée en certitude. Je n’étais pas comme les autres et, coïncidence, les autres étaient différents de moi. Alors où était « la norme » ? Mon chat est différent du chien du voisin, mais n’en fait pas tout un plat. On est comme on est et l’on pense comme on pense et c’est tant mieux. Ce tableau « Zafer » est ma façon de montrer cette différence. Célébrer cette différence n’est pas toujours facile quand on est jeune, mais, rassurez-vous, l’affirmation de cette différence vient avec le temps. Tenez bon !
