My wife Carol and I spent an afternoon with my goddaughter Romy Lagesse, the curator of my exhibition. A curator conceptualises painting exhibitions and gives unity to the whole event. Romy is doing her master's degree at the "Royal College of Art" in London and she gave me extremely wise advice and drew the direction that the exhibition should take. This is the first time I have worked with a curator and it has been an enriching experience. Like an orchestra conductor, she directed the installation of the paintings by creating a coherent story. I understood that, despite my five past exhibitions, I still had a lot to learn.
