The cat on the armchair is a small format painting (20cm x 20cm) painted on canvas. The picture below shows three stages of painting. My wife Carol is a cat fanatic and she gave me her passion. Before knowing her I had had a dog that was unhappy, some rabbits imprisoned in cages. Growing up I promise myself never to have any pets since I didn't give them the care I should when I was a child. Carol changed all this.
The cat in the painting is called Vincent and like a famous painter, it only has one ear ! The style of painting I named Zafer a few years back is naive while keeping a sence of perspective. A way for me to keep a foot on the classical painting side.
